How’s your Wellth?

1/22/2018

(No, that’s not a typo)

Unfortunately, there’s the perception that wealth, in any form, comes from the outside, having little to do with your health and well being. But it is incorrect.

Living your life from the inside out, is what gives you access to what is really needed, to do what you’re here on this planet to do and be.

Wellth depends upon you, making you the priority. Having routines and activities that support, enhance, and nourish your wellness are key, and it doesn’t work if you leave it up to chance or at the end of your To Do list.

During the last 6 weeks or more, I changed my morning routine, immediately starting my day attending to work related issues. Then, last week, I smacked into a wall. I hadn’t eaten all day and I was UBER multitasking, which led me to becoming extremely overwhelmed. As fear continued to grow, I physically felt it, something I never experienced before. Quickly, I reached out to a friend who helped me tremendously.

Looking back at my perfect storm, I realized one huge contributing factor was continuing to hop out of bed and going to work almost immediately, without taking care of me. I no longer had reserves to tap into as I tapped out.

Since then, I’ve been making changes. I can’t go at things the way I have and build my wellth, which I rely upon to finance, so to speak, my work and my life. I’m making my health and wellness, me, my priority and I’m noticing the difference.

If you realize changes are needed to increase your wellth but aren’t sure what to do or where to start, let’s talk. You can start the process right now by clicking on this link, go to the Discovery Session icon, click on it, and schedule your free 30-minute phone consultation.

If not now, when? If not you, who?

Do you have the courage and daring you need?

Thank you for downloading the S.H.I.N.E. analysis. I hope you found it helpful in clarifying what you need to change your life, thoughts, and/or behavior so you can truly SHINE!

Becoming clear about what you need, want, or desire, as well as identifying the hurdles, is crucial as you contemplate change. Without knowing where you are right now, you can’t navigate to someplace else.

It’s important to understand that making changes on your own can be very challenging without the right support. After all, if you could have made these changes, you would have. Many people think all they have to do is ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’. Before owning my own pair of cowboy boots, I thought (like most people) it meant doing it all alone, without any help. I was wrong! Bootstraps are built into the boot to assist the wearer in putting them on each time.

So why am I talking to you about bootstraps?

The S.H.I.N.E. analysis is a tool and you may need some guidance and support in completing, using, and implementing it. You don’t have to, nor should you, go it alone. Like those bootstraps, I can be of assistance to you, which is why I’m offering you a complimentary, 30-minute, personal phone consultation to go over your S.H.I.N.E. analysis.

READY?

It’s simple and easy to schedule and you can do it right now. Click on this link www.BethKeil.com, and then click on the Discovery Session icon which will take you directly to an online scheduler. Choose a date and time that is most convenient for you.

I look forward to us speaking very soon!

Everyone is tattooed --- what do yours say about you?

1/4/2018

Each of us has a tattoo, actually several.  Some are inked while others aren't so visible.  These unseen tattoos are how we feel about, and judge, ourselves.  Hiding them from others comes from fearing that if you were really, truly seen, others will judge you.  So instead, you cover up those tattoos, and work hard pretending you’re fine.  Pretending, however, leads to feelings of shame, and shame grows in silence, secrecy, and judgment.

You might be thinking---Thanks, Beth.   This New Year has just begun, and now this?

Are you ready to shed the tattoos you no longer need or want?
Step 1:  Identify the tattoos you wear by listening to your self-talk
  • When you make a mistake to you call yourself names like "stupid", "idiot", or worse?  Your  tattoo might say:  INADEQUATE
  • If it seems to take you longer to learn something than other people do you put yourself down?  Your tattoo might say:  SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH ME
  • When you don't remember something do you judge yourself negatively?  You tattoo may say: STUPID

Step 2:  Learn how to challenge this self-talk
  • Ask--- if one of your best friend or child were to do any of the above would you call them any of those names?
  • Would you let anyone call one of your best friends or child one of those words?
  • Now begin treating yourself like you do them.

Step 3:  Redesign your tattoo!
  • People with inked tattoos they no longer like (think before you ink!) can have them removed or have a tattoo artist create another tattoo, transforming the previous design into something beautiful.
  • Ask yourself what you really want your tattoo to say about you and write it down right now!  That's right, right now!  You now get to choose what you want it to say and how you want to feel about yourself.

Would you like support in updating your tattoos?  Be amongst the growing number of people who are joining me for the upcoming virtual seminar Visioning Your 2018: Tapping into Your Inner Wisdom on Saturday, January 20, 2018.  Click here to learn more.

The real difference between Here & There

12/18/2017

Do you know the real difference between Here and There? It’s the “T”.

Instead of looking at it as the letter “T”, I invite you to notice it as an intersection, a crossroads. Now the question that begs to be asked is which direction are you headed in – here or there?

Though it might feel like you don’t have a choice, YOU are the one who chooses which direction you go in. Actually, you have a third option, to go nowhere.

With the New Year so close at hand, do you know what you want to have, be, experience, and feel in the coming year? In other words, what direction do you want to head in.

Answering this question might feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. This is why I am personally inviting you to join me for Visioning Your 2018: Tapping into Your Inner Wisdom on Saturday, January 20. This virtual seminar is perfect for you if you answer “no” to any of these questions:

Are you happy doing what you’re doing?
Do know what your passions are?
Are you unsure of your purpose in life?
Do you even know what you want?

During this seminar you’ll learn how to tap into your inner wisdom and guidance using highly effective, creative and practical ways to help you answer these important questions.

Time: 10 am – 1 pm East coast time; 8 am – 11 am Mountain Standard Time; 7 am – 10 am Pacific Time

Virtual: After you sign up for the seminar you will receive a confirmation letter, a link to download Zoom (a virtual platform) onto your computer, and the code you’ll need to join in on the seminar. It is an easy process to follow.

Fee $55. Pre-registration with payment is required. A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 participants is needed due to the nature of this work.

You will also be provided the opportunity to learn more about the Excellence Curriculum to create a self-sustaining system to generate the space, time, money and energy to do what you love, whatever direction you take!

Look for additional information and how to pre-register in next week’s email!

I look forward to being on this journey with you!

3 Tips to not Going Stupid

12/4/2017

Has there ever been a time when, confronted by what a person said, it was beyond your understanding, like you were listening underwater, or hearing through molasses? It’s not that you were unintelligent or unable to comprehend information, you just didn’t get it.
In that moment, you’d Gone Stupid.
Going Stupid is when we’re resisting knowing something, coming up against unseen defenses. Keep in mind, a defense is there to protect us, even if it isn’t appropriate or necessary. It could be a conscious defense, but in these moments it’s more likely to be unconscious.
Most of us have Gone Stupid at some point in time. It’s not bad or wrong to do. In the long run, however, you won’t be able to change something that needs change. I know there are times, when I’m confronted by an issue that feels very uncomfortable, and I’m asked questions about it, I can suddenly feel very confused and can’t make sense of the situation, let alone my reaction to it. I’ve learned to identify it as - I’ve just Gone Stupid.
Here are 3 tips to help:
1. Being aware you’ve Gone Stupid
First off, if you don't know it’s happening, you can’t change it. Here are some possible signs of Going Stupid:
You don’t understand the other person’s questions
You’re feeling very confused by what’s being said
Suddenly you feel very tired
You feel angry or irritated all of a sudden
2. Understand it’s just your resistance to understanding
By connecting the resistance to not being able to understand lessens it, taking away its power. But there’s another important step that follows….
3. Explore where the resistance is coming from
Did you know my individual programs assist you in getting to and clearing whatever resistance is getting in the way of your successes? Whether you’re overweight, a smoker, feeling anxious, overwhelmed or sad – resistance is in your way. If you procrastinate, are prone to road rage, or feel stuck in your life, resistance is there.
Don’t know what the resistance is about? Neither did my clients before working with me, and when they did, their lives changed. Do you want to join them?

Rebooting Thanksgiving

11/27/2017

The winter holiday season is upon us, and this desert dweller is having a hard time associating it with day time highs of 80+ degrees. I’m still wearing my sandals and short sleeved tops, adding a light sweater when I go out (the AC is still on in stores!). My roots are in the east coast and, if you live(d) there, you know autumn means cooler temperatures and chillier rain and winds.

None of my reference points point to it being autumn. My outer surroundings are unfamiliar, no leaves are changing color, and in fact, plants are blooming causing seasonal allergies! I’m like a computer that loses its history when it powers down and, when it reboots, it has to learn anew without stored websites, cookies, or restore buttons.

I feel so discombobulated!

Have you ever noticed an opportunity, one to look at something with fresh eyes; to not go on automatic pilot about the way things are supposed to be, but instead, be curious? Would you be willing to feel the change and loss of what was, stay to open new possibilities, and welcome new experiences?

It’s what I’m continuing to do, out here in the desert landscape. It’s my inner landscape, however, that I’m letting bloom!

Many thanks for taking the time to read this!

2018 – OMG?!

11/20/2017

I don’t know about you, but when winter approaches, I begin thinking about the year. I think about what I’ve done, what I didn’t do but thought I would, and what am I committed to, both personally and professionally. When I lived on the east coast, I’d spend 5-7 days at the end of December in Lewes, DE, alone, taking time to reflect and set my intentions for the coming year.

This year I won’t be in Lewes. I am, however, taking time to reflect as I look at 2018. From this vantage point I get to see where I was January, 2017 and what this year has brought. I think of the fears that I tossed out the window as I drove myself 4,300 miles to the Southwest, and those that came along for the ride. I’m aware how, like a snake’s skin, I need to continue to shed layers if I am going to fully bloom and thrive here in the desert.

What do you want for 2018?

Do you find yourself being held back from shedding what keeps you bound and stuck? Are there fears, worries, or concerns that make you retreat from making changes? Are you finally tired of waiting for something to happen?

NOW IS YOUR TIME!

Time to take on what gets in your way, causing you to be afraid to change, let go, or reach for what you have only hoped for. You need to be committed, you have to be ready, and you have to want it! But you don’t need to know how, that’s where I can assist you.

And it gets even better than that!

As you might already know, I’m celebrating my first year in Arizona by offering 10 people substantial savings when they work with me. When we work together, you automatically save $125 off the program I offer. When you pre-pay, you save $250!

To be one of these select people, you have to schedule your Discovery Session with me as soon as possible (and it’s free)! Then you have to schedule your sessions by December 8, 2017 (but you can start in January or February of 2018). As they say, easy peasy!

So, Zach, are you ready to make 2018 your WOW year?

I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Here’s to celebrating!

Are you ready to be unbound?

11/6/2017

Do you know what a Lotus Foot is? It began in China, in the 10th Century, and became a sign of beauty and wealth for females born into wealthy families. As a result of this ‘beautification’, women could not walk on their feet, only their heels. The process was painful, as was living with feet that had been bound. Here’s a link with pictures of women whose feet were bound, along with blubs of their story.

The Lotus Foot popped into my thoughts the other day while I was talking (and crying) with a friend as I was having a meltdown.

And just like the Lotus Foot, I, too, was bound and in pain.

So many feelings and thoughts welled up in me, and with my friend’s support and listening, I was able to navigate through huge choppy waters into calmer ones. Once I could move through the pain and sadness I had been so immersed in, it was then that I saw my perceptions and inner reactions to them were the cause.

This didn’t happen in a few minutes, but when it did, I felt such relief. It was then that I became unbound. Now I could tap into a broader view of things, including my life, the changes I’ve made, and the choices I’m making. When I became unbound, I was filled with a sense of being in the right place, living my purpose (which for me is through my work), and grateful.

Will I ever get bound again? YES! Does that mean something’s wrong? YES, but not in the way you might think. When this happens, it means you’ve come up against perceptions and ways of being that do not serve you or your life, that you’re being invited to change and transform them!

So, are you ready to be unbound? Are you ready to live with more freedom and ease, how about joy? Found out how the work that I do might be what you’ve been looking for. But this won’t happen without your effort – click here (simple enough!) to set up your private complimentary phone consultation.

Here’s to being UNBOUND!

Are you ready to be gobsmacked?

10/30/2017

Scratching your head? I did when a friend used the word, but I attributed it to him being from Texas. He, on the other hand, attributed my never having heard the word to the fact that I was from the east coast. If you didn’t catch it, we make fun of each other (quite often). I won’t repeat what he called me when he read this.

Gobsmacked is the British word that means utterly astonished; astounded. I think it’s a great word, gobsmacked, like you can feel the emotion of the word.

What gobsmacks you? Do you ever get gobsmacked? (I’m going to use the word as much as I can!)

Being astonished and astounded can be amazing, can’t it? In that moment your world opens. Wonderment and awe may follow as your life changes. I hear this often from clients, how their personal world shifted, causing them to have more freedom and ease than they can ever remember having.

Are you ready to be gobsmacked, to get back to that place where the ordinary becomes the extraordinary?

Let’s talk.
