How can hypnosis help me to lose weight?

Hypnosis is an effective way to change old habits! One size does not fit all. Unlike CDs, you will experience hypnosis, one-on-one, with suggestions that are customized just for you.

Here is how it works. There are two main factors that contribute to weight gain:


  1. Bad habits learned in childhood such as eating too much or the wrong types of food.  These bad habits can be difficult to change on your own.  Hypnosis makes it much easier to achieve.
  2. Eating when feeling bored, stressed, lonely, etc..  Most of my clients are able to connect the way they eat with the way they feel.  Others are emotional eaters and aren’t aware of it.

Our approach is a proven hypnotherapeutic process that will empower you to take back control over those bad habits and the emotional eating, allowing you to change your relationship with food in a positive way.

I came to this after much talk therapy so I knew what my issues were and had worked them out intellectually. But the emotionality still lingered. If participants don’t know it already, I think they’d need to understand that nearly every overweight person is overweight due to emotional baggage. Genes, poor eating habits, big appetite, thyroid, big boned, etc etc etc. Nope. It all comes down to emotions. Deal with the emotions, deal with the fat.

The word choice of “releasing” the weight instead of losing it resonated with me. Might be helpful to address all the different reasons we’ve been holding on to the weight. For me, it’s not just about the act of eating. I felt the excess weight would help protect me. I felt vulnerable thin.
