Testimonials

Can you be “virtually” hypnotized? Absolutely, and for me, it’s the very best way. My sessions with Beth have been life changing. They’ve taught me things about myself that I never knew. They’ve made the seemingly impossible, possible. This work is deeply emotional and I really prefer being in the comfort of my own home, wrapped up in my own blanket. After our sessions, I just want to relax, lie back and let my discoveries wash over me. I can’t imagine having to get in the car and navigate traffic. For me, having a peaceful time to reflect after our sessions is almost as important as the work I do with Beth. I am grateful every single day for my new-found peace. If you’re reading this, I think you’re ready too.

Be amazed,

Beth is a true inspiration!  Her journey gives authenticity and power to the work she does.  She helped me learn how to let go of the things I no longer need in my life.  She is very intuitive and helped me articulate my fears so that I could face them (and overcome them).  As a strong woman, Beth has enabled me to see that I need not be diminished, ever, that I am strong and powerful beyond measure and my needs and wants are SO worthy. Beth's energy is refreshing and will help you feel motivated to accomplish your goals.

"I was recently admitted to a local hospital for a very serious health concern.  Many of the self-hypnosis exercises that I learned through you and 7th Path were most helpful in relaxing in a very stressed out situation.  I slept better, got more healthful rest when I needed it most and felt more in control of an "out of my control situation."  Thank you, Beth!

I had the wonderful experience of sitting with Beth Keil recently. Beth's insight to others mental and physical well being comes so naturally through her personal connection with you. She made such a difference for me after a focused 15 minutes. This is something I never would have believed if I had not experienced it myself. I would highly recommend reaching out to Beth for a consultation to get an understanding of how she can help you or a loved one.

Thank you so much for guiding me through my experience with hypnosis.  It was amazing.  I had no idea it would make such an impact on certain areas in my life.

Hypnosis was not what I thought it was going to be.  I was pleasantly surprised at how aware I was of everything going on.  How you were able to draw out some of those issues that had been buried for decades was amazing.

I will definitely pass the word on because after my experience I think everyone should try it at least once.

I came to Beth for help in one area of my life; however she has helped transform all areas of my life in such a positive way! She has awakened my inner spirit and has brought such great energy to my life in a whole new perspective.  I now feel I can accomplish or change anything I set my mind to. A weight has been lifted and I continue my life journey in a comforting yet exciting new way. Thank you for all your help and support, you have changed my life!

“For fifteen years (ever since my mother passed away), I’d been struggling with periodic bouts of depression.  I’d been to several psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and had even worked with a life coach, but nothing seemed to have a real, lasting impact. I had to try something new, and hypnotherapy seemed a good alternative.

I conducted my research through the internet, and reached out to several local hypnotherapists who appeared to have strong reputations and a lengthy history of practicing hypnosis. When Beth Keil returned my call, I felt an immediate connection.  I could literally hear the positive energy in her voice over the phone, and sensed she was someone who I could trust (it helped that Beth began her career as a registered nurse as this added to my perception of her credibility).

At my first hypnotherapy session, Beth spent time educating me about hypnotherapy in general. She had me envision what life could be like if I were able to get my stress under control. Sadly, I found it difficult; I had given up dreaming a long time before I showed up at Beth’s door.  Still, with Beth’s encouragement, even in that initial session, I began to see just the slightest glimmer of hope. When Beth took me into a hypnotic state later that session, I was a little surprised that it “worked”.  In short, I was hooked.

After six sessions (I added one more session due to the excellent progress I had seen in sessions 1-5) I felt I had achieved my initial goals, and simply needed to spend time putting my new-found skills into action.  Beth helped me to re-connect with my ‘authentic self’ and I was energized at the prospect of exploring the associated possibilities.

So, have I eliminated stress from my life?  Of course not.  But I now feel equipped to respond to stressors in a positive way. I remind myself I have the power to choose how I react. It’s not always easy, but I’m working to unlearn decades of habitual responses, so I know it will take time. The important thing is I now feel I have the tools I need to make the right choices. And I gained this ability in only six short hypnotherapy sessions, as compared with years of traditional counseling.

For the first time in years, I have a renewed sense of hope and possibility.  It reminds me a little of my college years, when I believed that anything was possible. The best benefit of all? I’m dreaming!"

I’m writing this testimonial to thank Beth Keil for some of the wonderful benefits I have experienced as a result of studying 7th Path Self-Hypnosis with her through Hypnosis Services of Delaware! I first came to Beth in October of 2006 describing my almost lifelong history of compulsive overeating. Even though I had been working through my issues on my own and in counseling for the better part of 20 years and had even become certified as both a personal trainer and nutritional consultant in 2002, I still felt that even though I had been exercising properly and eating healthily for many years and was in extremely good shape, I was still compulsively overeating occasionally and it just didn’t make sense! By the time I called Beth I felt sure I was ready to uncover and deal with any hidden deep-seeded issues with her assistance!

I found the initial experience to be very helpful! Beth explained the 7th Path Self-Hypnosis System thoroughly and the books I purchased from her (“The Secret Language of Feelings” and “Get on the Path” − the 7th Path study guide) were easy to read, extremely user-friendly and made sense to me on many levels. I must admit that I have not been completely consistent with my 7th Path daily practice since working with Beth in late ’06 and early ’07 however when I do take the time to practice I always feel refreshed and energized. But more importantly, again even though I am not the most diligent practitioner, ever since working with Beth I have become extremely aware of what used to be my SUBCONSCIOUS emotional triggers to overeat…I feel certain that the 7th Path Recognitions did for me exactly what they are intended to do: seek out, find, weaken, and just sort of unravel old negative mental programming that had prohibited me for years from enjoying life as fully as possible. What I especially appreciate about 7th Path is it’s clearly a holistic approach to healing: rather than slapping a Band-Aid over a wound (like telling yourself overeating is simply a matter of weakness and you’ll just have to be stronger tomorrow) it undermines the ORIGINS of unhealthy behaviors and entire cycles of self destructive behaviors just seem to fade away! Don’t get me wrong, I still occasionally overeat! But these days when I feel the urge to overeat coming on I almost always know exactly why I’m craving a certain snack or meal. Plus even more importantly, I think, is the fact that when I feel the overeating urge coming on I’m now often able to CHOOSE what to eat rather than just shoving anything I can find into my mouth as quickly as possible…because I have more understanding of the situation and more time to think as clearly as possible, I can often choose food that will ease the craving rather than aggravate it. Now I think of the whole overeating cycle as sort of a flu shot: if I choose to give myself just a little of what ails it I’m basically building up my immunities slowly over time!!!

A couple of months ago I realized that I felt ready to practice 7th Path more consistently, yet I just couldn’t see myself committing a large chunk of time to the process on a daily basis (my schedule is already PACKED as it is!) So I spoke to Beth about my situation and she assured me a one-day refresher course would probably be surprisingly helpful. So one Saturday in early April I took a day-long refresher course and I was shocked at how much I remembered from my first experience so many years ago! I also experienced both an immediate lifting of the spirits and a rush of energy that lasted well into the next day (like a double shot of espresso without the inevitable “roller coaster” drop off a few hours later!!!)

So THANK YOU Beth…you and 7th Path have made a believer out of me! In my business my clients are constantly asking for referrals to all KINDS of goods and services – you can bet I give your name out LIBERALLY!!

Warmly,

Jessica Lewis

I went to Beth Keil to quit smoking after over 40 years of being an avid smoker and many, many attempts to quit.

I anticipated that hypnosis might help me but felt sure that I would need to be willing to endure a hugely unpleasant, physically and psychologically difficult process, and that success would depend mostly upon my own will power and resolve in the face of strong cravings.

I was nonetheless committed to quit so I searched the internet for hypnotists who offered a stop smoking program in Delaware. Beth’s firm was the first one I found. After a short, free phone consultation in which Beth was clear and professional in answering my questions, I signed up (despite a good deal of skepticism) for the five session process that Beth explained was a comprehensive program to support me in ending my smoking addiction.

To my complete amazement, after my first session with Beth, the desire to smoke just disappeared. I had no cravings, no headaches – none of the symptoms which I had been sure I would need to endure. Quitting required no effort whatsoever because I simply forgot that I was a smoker.

Each subsequent session seemed to more fully dissolve any inclination to smoke again in the future in any circumstance or to substitute any other unhealthy practice for cigarettes. And with each of the five sessions (spread over several weeks) I found myself feeling calmer, more present, and with greater peace of mind. It has been over two months since my first session and it is clear to me that I will never smoke cigarettes again.

Beth is a master of her profession and I recommend her highly and without reservation. She provided a safe, supportive, encouraging environment as well as clear explanations and a professional but caring way of guiding me through her remarkably effective process.
