I'm not about putting on a happy face because it's the "right thing" to do and I'm an optimistic pragmatist.
So what can you do if you're unable to be thankful for anything?
- Stay connected with people you care about and who care about you. Whether you call them, see them in person or virtually it doesn't matter. Knowing you matter does! Remember connection is what we all need.
- Up your self-care! Get enough sleep and rest, eat healthy, and spend some time on your Self doing things that focus on your well-being.
- Reach out for help if you're feeling more than "blue" or down. Here is a link to Crisis Text Line and a resource in Delaware.
