~episode of Call the Midwife
What if we allowed life to freely teach us, instead of letting our past experiences dictate whether something will or will not work out, before we even attempt to try.
I have a friend who's on a mission to regenerate his kidneys which were damaged a few years back by medication. He was told by the doctor there wasn't anything they could do and that he'd need dialysis for the rest of his life or would need a kidney transplant. My friend is a person who, when told nothing can be done, thinks nothing is impossible and doesn't let what has happened so far stop him from solving problems. He's constantly wondering, "What if?" and "How?".
Would he say it's faith that guides him----I don't know. I have a feeling he has faith in curiosity.
I can tell you he created and implemented a program that incorporates a variety of modalities and ideas (I'm on his team) which took him from having dialysis 3 times a week for 3 1/2 hours to 3 hours with almost full urine output! And he's not done!
What if your fixed beliefs limit you?
What if they keep you from discovering what's possible?
I'm just wondering aloud.
