December is my annual retreat time at the beach; to be alone and reflect on the year both personally and professionally, to use my inner guidance in creating the coming new year, enabling me to return home energized and filled with renewed passion, open to possibilities!
It's also at the beach where I've let go of relationships (this means people of course), as well as what no longer serves the highest and best in my life. It's very freeing to let go, especially those expectations. It can be scary, too.
I've come to learn that fear has a shelf life! But here's what happens that makes you think that fear is continuing----you find another box of fear on the shelf and think it's the same one! And if you look closely, your shelf may have many other boxes ready to replace the one in your hand.
Not much fun is it? In fact if you weren't already stressed you soon will be! There's plenty of information out there about stress and its effects on the body and therefore, our health and well being.
